How to: Install Siri on iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4

Just a few more taps…there we go! “Siri, what movies are showing at the cinema tonig-”, Oh hi guys! Sorry, I was just installing Siri on my iPod Touch. It’s pretty easy actually; all you need is a jailbroken iDevice without Siri and Cydia. You know what? I’ll just tell you in full detail…

What you need:

–    A Jailbroken iDevice

–    Wifi connection

–    Cydia

1) Getting the Siri interface

Step 1: Open Cydia

Step 2: Go to Manage > Sources > Edit > Add

Step 3: Add this repo: http://cydia.bassamkassem.com

Step 4: Add the source and open it

Step 5: Look for a tweak called “Ac!d Siri for iOS 6.1” (or whichever iOS version you are using)

Step 6: Install it. The Siri package is about 90MB and will take a while to install.

Step 7: Once installed, reboot your device

2) Installing Wordjelly for SiriPort Servers

Step 1: Open Cydia and go to Manage > Sources > Edit > Add

Step 2: Add this repo: http://wordjelly.com/repo

Step 3: Open the source and look for a tweak called iOS 6 WordJelly Control Panel

Step 4: Install this and reboot the device again (alternatively, you can just respring)

Start using Siri:

Step 1: Open the Settings app and go to General > Siri

Step 2: Enable Siri

Step 3: Go down to Ac!d Settings and enable Siri there as well.

Step 4: Hold down the home button and enjoy bossing around your new slave!

Note: Everything should work perfectly, but if it doesn’t, don’t hesitate to leave a comment and I’ll try to sort it out!
