Earlier this week, Samsung unveiled the world’s first curved display smartphone. They apptly named it the ‘Galaxy Round’.
The phone incorporates a unique 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, making it the same size a the recently launched Galaxy Note 3.
Weighing in at 154g and meausring 7.9mm thick, the official Samsung Tomorrow Blog described it as providing

Galaxy Round ‘Roll Effect’
One of the features to come with the Galaxy Round is called the ‘Roll Effect’. By tilting the phone to the left or right, you can see basic information about the phone such as texts, missed calls and battery life.
This feature also works hen playing a song, for instance tilt the phone to the right to go to the next song, to the left for the previous track.
The Galaxy Round also retains feature like that of the Note 3, such as Multi Window for running two apps at once and one-handed mode (activated by drawing a sort of zigzag arcoss the screen).
The Galaxy Round seems like a good, all-rounded phone (get it?) in principle, but I don’t think it will catch on very easily. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below!
